You will notice some touches of PINK around our clinic amidst all our seasonal autumn decor. Our RMTs and reception staff are donning pink ribbons all month long to raise awareness and donations for life-saving breast cancer research.
October is a month that we look forward to every year and NOT just because of the pumpkin spice lattes! Since 2015, our team has baked, exercised, and raffled our way through October. We are proud supporters of Breast Cancer Canada (formerly Breast Cancer Society of Canada). BCC is a registered national charity dedicated to saving lives through breast cancer research. The donations we raise are invested into research that directly impacts Canadians.
According to the BCC, breast cancer remains the most common cancer among Canadian women. In fact, as many as 1 in 8 women is likely to develop breast cancer in her lifetime. BCC is proud to announce that survival rates have improved since the mid-80’s due, in part, to research and better screening.
